The Sandino Group, LLC is a Marketing and Communications Consultancy, which specializes in developing integrated marketing, communications and educational programs for consumers, patients and healthcare professionals. The company’s mission is to design and activate integrated healthcare communications programs that address the specific needs of all relevant audience segments.
Jim Sandino, a veteran healthcare marketing professional who has extensive agency and client-side experience, founded The Sandino Group in 2001. With over 60 major DTC/DTP programs to his credit, Jim had come to believe that most healthcare agency models were flawed and unable to provide effective, results-based marketing solutions for their clients, their products, or their businesses. So, he set out to build a better model.
Jim holds that each client must be viewed not as an “account,” nor as an “assignment,” but as a unique business with its own dynamics, challenges, opportunities, problems and solutions. And, that there is no “one right way” to generate tangible results and greater market share for clients. This means that there also is no single staffing model, nor talent set appropriate for all client engagements. Rather, a pool of cross-disciplinary thinkers, creatives and managers representing a breadth of expertise is required to bear upon each client opportunity.
Toward that end, Jim recruited a group of experts with a wide variety of interests that could be accessed on an as-needed basis to provide guidance, leadership and expert counsel.
The Sandino Group (TSG) has a growing roster of clients which includes advertising agencies, public relations firms, pharmaceutical companies, accredited Nutraceutical businesses, healthcare insurers and providers, consumer/patient advocacy groups, employers, healthcare professional associations and government agencies. TSG is also one of the founding partners in the development of a new communication channel designed to address many of the current flaws and inefficiencies in healthcare communications and education efforts.
